Academics

As a public school in the Washoe County School District, Turning Point offers core core academic classes.  As the campus is specialized to assist those students who have particular disabilities the focus at Turning Point is to ensure that its students are meeting grade-level requirements.  As such ELA, math, social studies, and science are all offered.  To supplement the academic curriculum, there are frequent opportunities for students to engage with art-related and art-supported assignments, physical activities, and site-based projects.  Finally, in order to provide proper social and behavioral support we offer our students life-skills and SEL classes.
